Description of Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag Medium

Originally built for hard-working messengers, the Classic Messenger Bag has been in production for 18 years. Known for its long-lasting, rugged durability and distinctive three-panel, multi-color design, the Classic Messenger has been adopted in cities around the world as the everyday, all-purpose carryall. It features a ballistic nylon exterior and waterproof liner, and remains the bag-of-choice for bicycle messengers, cycling enthusiasts and urban dwellers everywhere.

The Grown Collection is Timbuk's vision to moving towards utilizing parts and materials that are better for the environment and less harmful to the folks who make them. Last year they took a big step by eliminating PVC from their entire line. These bags are another step in the right direction. On some of the key styles you’ll find the same fabric texture both inside and out. The bag maintains water resistance and durability without sacrificing style. Self fabric trim adds to the finished look. Fabric is made up of 66% hemp, 33% PET, and 1% mojo.

The Originals Collection consists of waxed canvas bought in the U.S. and makes some of Timbuk2's favorite bags. They found a bunch of classic patches and are using those along with the old skool ballistic bottom boot.
