Freshly brewed skies with their ominous clouds are no match for the weather-beating combination of hard-shell and soft-shell fabrics found in our Light Smoke Flash Jacket. The lightweight, supple soft-shell provides a high degree of breathability for going the distance under a full head of steam, and 2-way stretch to enhance athletic moves. Two-layer waterproof reinforcements over the shoulders and the backs of arms maintain alpine durability along with storm performance. Pit zips vent excess heat when you’ve reached the boiling point on long boot paths, and the Welded Seam construction increases stuffability and softness, reduces weight, and provides absolute wet-weather protection. The textured mesh interior moves moisture away from the body and glides snaglessly over layers. Other inside features include a stretch powder skirt, a stealthy lift-ticket holder, a large mesh drop-in pocket for skins, and a zippered security pocket. With articulated elbows, two zippered chest pockets (one is for an audio device) and two torso pockets that also serve double-duty as fast-forward vents.
