The new R2® Jacket is our most versatile insulation – lightweight, compressible and warm without excess bulk for mountain pursuits.

Cutting-edge routes require adaptability, which is why the R2® Jacket has become a mountain staple. It can be worn as a stand-alone jacket when you’re on the go or as an insulating layer when the mercury plummets. The stretchy and improved variegated-fiber fabric, now with a matte finish and greater warmth, has superb breathability and compressibility, along with minimal weight. Stretchy R1® (now made with recycled polyester) inside the collar and cuffs enhances skin comfort, and the pliable R2 body fabric affords unrestrained movement. With a new, easy-to-use regular-coil zipper front, welded-in zippers on the hand pockets, and forward-set shoulder seams for pack-wearing comfort. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program. Trim fit.
