I have bought the Garmont Xena boots two months ago. I have used them for the first time last weekend. The boots are not satisfying the usual conditions in which I’m used to use the boots. I would like to list the problems I’ve occurred:
1. the cuff-tongue was impossible to adjust – the strings either tighten or loose, nothing was helping me to avoid the pain on the angle.
2. the screw for the “canting” were peeled of only after to turns with the screw driver and now is impossible to adjust the boot in the right position.
3. the comfortable position I find only if the buckle are adjusted on the “walking position” on the metal holder. If not like that, the pain is incredible and the boots are tightening me so much that I can not feel neither the leg position in the boot neither the ski nor the surface under the ski.
4. The boots are not warm – My legs were frozen apart of the fact that I was walking hard for two hours having merino wool socks which I use with another ski boots and the result is worm.
5.
