I demoed this board this weekend and it is fantastic. (I'm currently riding a SIMS Tina Basich - a more intermediate board, but carves nicely) Even without cranking up the forward lean, it is a carving machine. This board is incredibly responsive and is perfect for the aggressive free-rider who like to dig trenches on corduroy or crud. It inspires confidence right from the get-go.What makes this board is really the new binding system. I never thought I would actually say that bindings can be "comfy" but they are. Amazing board feel and instantaneous response. I thought I could only ride hard boots and a race board this way!
