Its hoop has been updated to a length of removable copper wire sewn into the sack, so there's nothing to set up and no chance of a broken piece. All of the seams have been factory seam sealed, so there's less of a chance of preciptation coming through. As used in all Bibler Tents, the Hooped Bivy is made of waterproof and breathable ToddTex laminate, and at 22 ounces, this durable, stormproof shelter is ideal insurance for that unplanned bivy night.
