Description of Benchmark Maps Oregon Road and Recreation Atlas

Oregonians love their state, and they love this atlas. They rave about how clearly it shows the roads – all of them – and its accuracy, page overlap, and how easy it is to find landmarks. The Landscape Maps in the latest edition are dramatically improved, with better terrain clarity and detail. A Hunting and Fishing section has been added, along with a thorough updating of recreation information.

The maps in every Benchmark atlas are arranged in a logical "outside/in" progression. The front of each atlas has United States, regional, and state maps for orientation and overview, followed by the larger scaled Landscape and Recreation Maps (which are used for most in-state travel and planning), and finally a section devoted to "metro map" detail for getting around the urban areas.
