USOUTDOOR.com was established in 1996. In September of 2002, the 4th version of the online store launched as USOUTDOORSTORE.com. Shipping To Different Addresses (Back to top)
Having your order shipped to an address not listed on your credit card account can delay the processing of your order. For reasons of security, we do not automatically ship out orders to addresses that are not listed on your credit card account. When an order like this is received it is placed in the Credit Card Fraud Prevention Queue.

If you would like to avoid this extra process, you have the following option:

  1. Have your order shipped to your billing address.
  2. Contact your credit card company and have them add your shipping address to your account.

Extra security measures have been put into place for customers that ask us to ship to a different address than is listed on the credit card.

Please follow these 3 simple steps listed below:

    1. Your credit card will be charged a small random amount, which will be credited towards your total purchase.

    2. Next, simply contact your credit card company. Once you have obtained the small random amount, return to your "My Account" page and enter the amount where indicated.

    3. Once the small random amount is verified, we will charge the remaining balance to your card, and ship your order either that same day or on the next business day.

These measures eliminate any unauthorized use of your card, so shopping with us is always safe and secure.


International Orders (Back to top)

International orders will be shipped via UPS Worldwide. The actual shipping charge is queried from the UPS Rate Servers and displayed, so you know exactly how much your international shipment will be. Orders to Canada can not be shipped to a P.O. Box. Returns / Exchanges for international orders are subject to return shipping costs.

USOUTDOOR.com is not responsible for any import taxes applied by some countries on international orders. If you refuse to pay import or customs tax levied by the country to which your order was shipped, your order may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of by said authorities. If this occurs you will not be entitled to any refund from the U.S. Outdoor Store or any of its affiliated partners.

Credit Card Fraud Prevention
Extra security measures have been put into place for cards issued from banks outside of the United States because of the difficulty in verifying foreign cards and cardholders. If you use a credit card issued from a bank outside of the USA, your order will be immediately placed into our Credit Card Fraud Prevention Queue.

The following steps must then be taken to move your order out of this Queue and on to normal processing:

1. Your credit card will be charged a small random amount, which will be credited towards your total purchase.

While we do our very best to ensure an accurate inventory for your shopping ease, unfortunately product does sell out. This usually happens when two or more customers order the same item at the same time, before our computer has a chance to update itself. If this happens to your order, you will be notified in a timely manner (usually the same or next day), and we will offer you suggestions on the closest thing available. .

It is USOUTDOOR.com standard practice to ship partial orders. Customers will usually be notified on the same day that their partial order is to ship out.

Returns(Back to top)

UNUSED ITEMS, with all of the original tags and packaging must be post-marked to us within 15 days of receiving your order for a full refund, minus $8.00 restocking fee ($20.00 on tents, sleeping bags, large backpacks, snowboard boots and bindings, and ski boots and bindings. $25.00 on snowboards, skis and wakeboards.) per package shipped. Please note that we can process returns and exchanges only for items purchased from USOUTDOOR.com & InterMountainTraders.com. Items that are returned after the 15 day time frame will be charged a 15% restocking fee. We do not accept returns after 30 days. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. Please include a copy of your receipt with an explanation for your return and/or the items for which you would like to exchange. Exchanges for international orders are subject to return shipping costs.

Please Note: Any of following items cannot be returned and will be refused if shipped to us for the purpose of a return.

  • Special Orders are non-returnable
  • Food is non-returnable
  • Medical Kits are non-returnable
  • Climbing Equipment is non-returnable
  • Bathing Suits without protective strips are non-returnable
  • Any footwear orders with return shipping labels on manufacturer's box, rather than original shipping box are non-returnable.
  • Skis and snowboards that have accidentally fallen off of a vehicle's roof rack or have been damaged in some other unfortunate way are non-returnable.

  3. Once the random debit amount is verified, we will charge the balance and ship your order the same day.
